The debut album of SoFaKing will come out next February 17, 2017 on italian label I DISCHI DEL MINOLLO. The album has important garage indie-rock sounds. The band is composed of Paolo Pretto (ex Lemmins - products from Marseille Records), guitars and vocals, and Nicola Sannino, bass; during live performances it is also "Paul Paul" Tixi, that you are recording played batteries. SoFaKing prefers vintage instruments and lo-fi sound, exclusive atmosphere of the ten tracks on the album. Always attracted by low fidelity recordings, in SoFaKing project, Paul played with electronics and influences sixties.

L'album d'esordio del genovese Paolo Pretto a nome SoFaKing vedrà la luce il prossimo 17 febbraio 2017 su etichetta I DISCHI DEL MINOLLO. L' album possiede importanti sonorità garage indie-rock che ne fanno la propria cifra stilistica. La band è principalmente composta da Paolo Pretto (ex Lemmins – prodotti da Marsiglia Records), chitarre e voce, e Nicola Sannino, basso; durante i live è presente anche "Paolo Paolo" Tixi, che in fase di registrazione ha suonato le batterie. Dall'orecchio eclettico, SoFaKing predilige strumenti vintage e sonorità lo-fi, atmosfere esclusive delle dieci tracce dell'album. Da sempre attratto da registrazioni in bassa fedeltà e con una cultura musicale grunge e noise alle spalle, nel progetto SoFaKing, Paolo ha giocato con l'elettronica e le influenze sixties mettendole in sinergia tra loro. Scritte di getto nell’inverno del 2015 nel piccolo home studio di Paolo, dove egli compone, suona e registra tutte le canzoni servendosi di un multitraccia Zoom h4. In una seconda fase Paolo si rivolge a Nicola Sannino (già fonico dei Lemmins e tra gli altri di James Cook e Meganoidi) per la finalizzazione del disco e trova in lui entusiasmo nel progetto. Insieme decidono di rivedere le sessioni ritmiche registrando al "c27" studio le batterie con "Paolo Paolo" Tixi e il basso con lo stesso Nicola. Infine mixano e masterizzano il tutto senza snaturare le originali registrazioni lo-fi.
